“Now I am giving you a new command – love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you must love one another. This is how all men will know that you are my disciples, because you have such love for one another.”
Think of a moment when you knew, really knew, you were loved. Is it a moment spent with a parent, with a friend, with a child or grandchild, a spouse or a pet? When was that moment? What was it like? What did it mean to you? How did it affect you?
My friend, you are loved just that much and more by a God who loves you (and me) beyond our ability to grasp. If we could feel that love, deep within, each day of our lives, what might we be able to do, who might we be able to love or how might we be different?
My prayer, this day, is that you (and I) feel the depth of God’s love. And once you (we) know this love, then may we share it in unexpected ways with unsuspecting souls. Be a force for love!!!!
