Worship Sundays at 10:30 am

407 South Grove Avenue, Barrington, IL

The Book of Psalms is the longest book of the Bible and occupies central position.  It is no wonder that a book of hymns holds this place.  Music, in the life of the church, carries memories, images and hope.  It transports us to the very neighborhoods of heaven.  Music lifts our emotions, ushers us into a deeper place of worship and provides an opportunity for all who gather to join in, becoming one voice, one Spirit, one people.

Pastor Zina often quips that the congregation will remember what was sung or played long after they will remember what was preached or prayed.

At Community Church music is central to our worship and our lives.  We are grateful for the many members and friends who contribute to our music program and we celebrate the intimate ensemble style of singing that fills our sanctuary each and every Sunday.
