The Community Church of Barrington is reaching out past our front doors in a number of ways.
The Missions Program is staffed by a group of dedicated members who direct a full 10 percent of Community Church’s income to helping others and worthy causes outside of the church. Our missions funds are divided among local, regional, national, and worldwide causes.
Community Church is well represented on the Barrington Area Ministerial Association and the Barrington Area Development Council, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the greater Barrington Area through support for local benevolence organizations and other worthy community causes and programs.
Our church has long been known for its warm and friendly membership, and we are always extending a welcoming hand to newcomers to the community and working to spread God’s Word.
There are many worthy causes throughout the world, but since it is impossible to address all of them, the Missions Team selects one or two areas to emphasize each year. Our Missions focus is on children and hunger.
Soon we will expand our outreach in the areas of helping hands and advocacy. Watch this page for updates as these programs develop!
Each 5th Sunday of the month we highlight a different Missions focus for that we have supported.
