Colossians 3:12, 14

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. . . .  And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.

What’s in your closet?  And how do you select your clothing each day?  Weather, activities, comfort, what’s already ironed; all of these things may figure into the selection you make on any given day.  But God would have us take into consideration other factors.  God would have us clothe ourselves in the particular garb noted above.

Tell me, are these among the garments you put on in the morning when you dress?  Do you have an undershirt of humility, shoes of kindness, and a belt of peace?  Are these garments among the ones you and I own?  Dearly Beloved, (that’s how God sees you), this is a moment to consider not what’s in your wallet, but what’s in your closet.  This I believe, God is concerned about our closets and how we dress.  May we dress for success according to Colossians 3.
