THIS I BELIEVE: WE ARE MEANT FOR GOOD WORKS

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Imagine a master craftsmen working with skill and intensity, fashioning a beautiful figurine, an intricate carving or an exquisite work of art. Imagine even before beginning her work, this artisan had chosen the place where her work would be displayed. And once displayed, the work of art enhanced its surroundings and offered a blessing to all who saw it.
Beloved, you are God’s stunning work of art, crafted with intensity and skill. Before you were born, God knew where He desired to place you and how your beauty, inside and out, would enhance your surroundings and offer a blessing to all who come near. You were created, in Christ Jesus, to do good things, to make a positive difference. May you find a way, this day, to share your gifts and bless the world in ways small or large. This is what you are designed to do. This I believe.
