A Sure Foundation 10-29-15
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
Have you ever noticed that when you and a friend are together — maybe taking a walk or a drive, even sitting together through a meal — you notice different things and notice the same things differently? You see the world through one another’s eyes and you benefit from the ability to take in more.
When two or three of us are gathered in the pursuit of divine things, there is a greater opportunity to see God moments, to feel God’s presence, to take in the Holy. In truth, God is always present, it is just that when we are present together we are more likely to sense the Divine and to see the Holy. May we gather together today, in twos or threes, to see the God who is always near us and loves us deeply, and may we be blessed.
